Body care questions buyers ask

What is the minimum order quantity across the body care range?

Three thousand units per SKU, which applies to OEM and ODM work and to the private label catalogue alike. Fill formats differ by product: body wash at 300-500ml in bottles, body lotion at 200-400ml in bottles, body scrub at 230g in jars, and sculpting cream at 150-300ml in tubes. MOQ is counted per SKU rather than across the whole order, so a four-piece range is three thousand units of each. The tube fill for sculpting cream needs different tooling from the bottle fills, which matters if you are trying to share packaging across the range.

Which actives do you use in body lotion?

Shea butter, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid are the three we build most body lotion work around, covering hydrating, firming and brightening directions. Texture runs from lightweight to rich, and that choice interacts with the active load rather than being independent of it. A rich shea-forward lotion and a lightweight niacinamide lotion are different formulas, not the same formula at two viscosities, so decide the texture and the claim together at briefing stage rather than sequentially.

What goes into the body sculpting creams, and what can I claim?

Caffeine, L-carnitine and hot pepper extract are the actives in the sculpting and contouring formulas. On claims, our own wording is that they help skin look firmer and smoother, and that is deliberate: it is an appearance claim about skin, not a weight loss or fat reduction claim. Cosmetic regulations in most of our customers' markets treat body shaping and slimming claims as the boundary where a product stops being a cosmetic, so the claim you print determines whether your product is still a cosmetic in that market. Bring us the claim you want on the label and we will tell you whether the formula supports it.

What exfoliants can go into a body scrub?

Natural sugar, salt and fruit granules, filled at 230g in jars. The three behave differently in use: sugar dissolves as it works and is the gentlest, salt is coarser and more aggressive, and fruit granules sit in between while reading as the more premium option on shelf. Positioning options we formulate against include brightening, smoothing and fragrance-forward bath ritual products. Granule choice also affects how the product looks through a clear jar, which is worth settling before packaging is locked.

How do the body wash textures differ?

We run amino acid, cream and gel textures. Amino acid systems are the milder surfactant route and foam differently from a standard base, cream washes read richer and suit dry-skin positioning, and gel washes are the lighter, more transparent option. All three support long-lasting scent profiles, and body wash is where fragrance does most of the selling, so scent direction is usually the first thing to settle rather than the last. Moisturizing, whitening and fragrance-forward are the three directions we build against most often.
