Premium (Sensitive Body)
Sensitive Skin Minimalist Body Wash
A fragrance-free minimalist wash for sensitive, itch-prone skin. The design principle is subtraction: every ingredient that is not doing necessary work is a candidate for removal, because on this position the ingredient list is part of the product and a short one is the claim. That constrains the formula in ways worth knowing before you brief, since a shorter list means fewer options for fixing foam, viscosity or scent later. The system below is our standard ODM baseline, adjustable for your target market and price point.

Key Active Ingredients
How the Active Ingredients Work
A deliberately short formula: a mild surfactant system, a humectant, and one conditioning agent. The system below is our standard ODM baseline, adjustable for your target market and price point.
Minimalist surfactant systemprimary cleansing system
A short amphoteric and non-ionic pairing chosen for mildness on skin that is washed often, and kept to as few components as the foam and viscosity targets allow. Mildness here comes from the surfactants themselves rather than from anything added to soften them, which is what lets the ingredient list stay short. Sulfate-free is the default on this base rather than an option.
Glycerinhumectant
The single humectant in the formula, used at a functional level. On a minimalist base there is no supporting cast to compensate, so glycerin is carrying the whole job of offsetting the moisture loss that washing causes.
Panthenolsupporting skin conditioner
Provitamin B5, the one conditioning agent we keep on this base because it earns its place on the list. Contact time in a rinse-off product is short, so we position it as a comfort contributor to the after-feel rather than a treatment ingredient, and the level is set against the finished feel on sample.
Fragrance-free by defaultno fragrance and no masking fragrance
Worth stating precisely, because fragrance-free and unscented are different claims: an unscented product can contain a masking fragrance to cover raw material odour, and this base does not. Fragrance is the most common trigger in a product applied over a large surface area, which is why removing it is the first decision rather than an option.
Formulation & Customization Options
| Service model | ODM on our minimalist wash base, or full OEM development |
| Target pH | Formulated in the mildly acidic range this surfactant system supports. The exact value is set per project and recorded on your specification. |
| Adjustable elements | Surfactant ratio; panthenol level; glycerin level; viscosity; preservative route where your market or retailer has a specific requirement |
| Ingredient count | The short list is the product, so additions are a positioning decision rather than a formulation one. We will tell you what each addition costs you in claim strength before making it. |
| Packaging | Clinical-style pump bottle at 500ml standard; 5–10ml sachet for trial; custom colour, print and secondary packaging |
| Certifications | ISO 22716, GMPC; SGS testing supported upon request. Halal, COSMOS and vegan-positioned formulations can be scoped to your requirement — tell us the destination market and certifying body and we will confirm feasibility before sampling. A short plant-derived list makes this one of the easier bases to take down a vegan or COSMOS route. |
Who This Product Is Built For
Sensitive-skin and dermatological-style ranges
The clinical pack and the short ingredient list do the positioning work, which suits a brand selling on restraint rather than on actives. This is the base to build on where the customer reads the back of the bottle before buying.
Natural and gentle-care positioning in Southeast Asia
Demand for gentle, minimal formulations is growing across Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, and a fragrance-free wash is one of the clearer ways to signal it without making a functional claim that needs supporting.
Brands building a gentle body range
Sits above our everyday wash as the sensitive-skin option. The pH-Balanced Refreshing Body Wash covers the mainstream position below this one, and the Centella Soothing Body Lotion is the matching retained step where comfort is the concern.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 2,000–3,000 bottles per SKU and production takes 35–45 days from sample approval, with sampling at 2–3 weeks. If a dermatological test on the finished formula is part of your plan, add its own timeline on top rather than assuming it fits inside the production window.
Can we market this for babies or young children?
That needs deciding market by market before we sample, and it is worth raising at the brief stage rather than after. Products intended for children, and particularly for under-threes, carry additional safety assessment and labelling expectations in the EU and specific requirements in several Asian markets, so a baby claim changes the documentation route rather than just the artwork. The formula is built to be gentle for family use; whether your pack can say baby is a regulatory question for your destination market, and we will work through it with you rather than assume it.
What is the difference between fragrance-free and unscented?
Fragrance-free means no fragrance has been added at all, which is what this base is. Unscented usually means a masking fragrance has been used to cover the natural odour of the raw materials, so the product smells of nothing while still containing fragrance. The distinction matters to the customer who buys this category, and we do not add a masking fragrance unless you ask for it.
Can you add a fragrance later?
We can, but it changes what the product is. The fragrance-free claim is the main reason a customer chooses this over a cheaper wash, so adding scent moves it into a different position where it competes on price instead. If you want both, the cleaner route is two SKUs on the same base rather than a compromise in one bottle.
Can it be certified hypoallergenic or dermatologically tested?
Dermatological testing on the finished formula can be arranged as a separate service and quoted with the project, and it is a reasonable investment on this position since the claim is what the product is sold on. Hypoallergenic is not a regulated term in most markets and means different things to different retailers, so we would rather support a claim backed by a test report on your specific formula than use the word loosely.
Why is the ingredient list so short?
Because on this product the list is part of what you are selling. Every addition has to justify itself against the claim, so we keep the surfactant system minimal, use one humectant and one conditioning agent, and leave out fragrance entirely. The trade-off is fewer levers if you later want more foam or a thicker pour, which is why those targets are set at the sampling stage rather than adjusted afterwards.
