Certifications

Verify GZ Cosmetics Lab certifications, legal manufacturing entity, certificate numbers, scope and the limits of what each certificate proves.

Verify the entity, scope and validity

A certificate is useful when the legal entity, site, scope, issuing body and validity can be checked. A logo alone proves none of those things.

Our manufacturing entity is Jiumei (Guangzhou) Biomedical Co., Ltd. The same entity should appear on the quotation, manufacturing documents and the certificates used to support your project.

How to verify our GMP certificates

Check certificate HBPCER20260352 for ISO 22716:2007 and HBPCER20260353 for GMPC in Intertek's certificate database at certs.intertek.com.cn. Confirm the legal entity and covered site rather than matching only the brand name. Both certificates are subject to annual surveillance audits.

What each document does — and does not do

ISO 22716 and GMPC

Evidence of the manufacturing quality system and GMP scope. They are not product approvals and do not complete a PIF, CPSR or notification.

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Management-system credentials covering quality, environmental and occupational health and safety disciplines. Confirm the applicable scope when a customer file requires them.

Halal certification

Scope and market recognition must be checked for the intended products and importing country. It is not automatically transferable between markets.

US facility registration

Our published FEI is 3038966060, valid through 29 July 2028. Registration is a filing, not FDA approval, inspection or endorsement.

The buyer's four-part certificate check

Entity

Does the certificate name match the company signing and manufacturing?

Site

Does the address cover the plant that will make the product?

Scope

Does the certificate cover the activity or product family you are buying?

Validity

Is it current, and can the issuing body confirm it independently?

Documents available for project review

We can provide the relevant certificate copies and manufacturing documentation within an agreed commercial and confidentiality scope. Product-specific evidence such as specifications, batch COAs, stability or third-party reports remains separate from factory-level certificates.

Match the paperwork to the actual plant

Exterior of the GZ Cosmetics Lab manufacturing facility
Supplier qualification should connect the certified legal entity and production-site scope to the plant that will actually make the order.

How a certificate fits into four major market routes

European Union and United Kingdom

ISO 22716 supports the GMP statement connected to the actual manufacturing site. It does not appoint the Responsible Person, create the CPSR or submit the notification.

United States

Facility registration and quality-system evidence are separate concepts. The brand or other responsible person still owns product listing, safety substantiation, adverse-event handling and compliant labelling.

Southeast Asia

GMP evidence supports the product file, while each national authority retains its own notification route and local responsible-party requirements. Halal expectations also differ between countries.

Middle East

Factory GMP and product documentation support registration, but Arabic labelling, GSO or national conformity routes and halal recognition are determined by the importing market.

Common certificate problems a buyer can detect

The entity does not match

The supplier name on the quote is different from the certified manufacturer, with no clear contract or relationship explaining who will actually make the goods.

The address is incomplete

A sales office or registered address is shown while the production site inside the certificate scope is hidden or inconsistent.

The scope is too broad in the sales claim

A system certificate is presented as proof that every product, line or claim is certified, even though the document covers only a defined activity and site.

The issuer cannot confirm it

A PDF or badge is offered, but the certificate number, validity or issuer database cannot be checked independently.

Registration becomes approval

A filing number is marketed as government approval. This is especially common with US cosmetics facility registration.

Halal is treated as universal

The certificate's product and line scope, certification body and recognition in the importing country are not examined.

A practical verification workflow

Start with the issuing body's record rather than a supplier-provided logo. Save the verification result with the date, compare the legal entity and production address against the commercial documents, then review scope and expiry. Ask who monitors renewal and what happens if surveillance changes the status during your supply agreement.

Before sampling

Verify the manufacturing entity and the certificates that influence supplier qualification.

Before contracting

Write required validity, notification of status changes and document access into the agreement.

Before production

Confirm that the site and activity used for the order remain within scope.

During supply

Recheck time-limited documents and market-specific registrations on an agreed schedule.

Factory certificates versus product documents

Factory certificates describe systems and site-level scope. Product specifications, ingredient documents, batch COAs, stability, preservation, compatibility and efficacy reports describe a specific product or batch. A complete supplier file needs both layers. One cannot be used to fill a gap in the other.

What to request in a supplier-qualification file

The useful file is a controlled set of current documents, not a folder of logos. Ask for copies that show the full page, certificate number, entity, address, scope, issue and expiry dates, and the issuing body. Record when your team checked the source and who owns the next review.

Legal and manufacturing identity

Company registration details, production licence and the exact production-site address used for the order.

Quality-system evidence

Current GMP and relevant management-system certificates, including every page needed to understand scope and sites.

Market-specific records

Only the registrations or certificates relevant to the destination and product route, with their limits stated.

Product-level documents

Specifications, ingredient information, batch COA, stability, preservation, compatibility and claim evidence as applicable.

Change notification

A contractual route for notifying the brand if a certificate expires, is suspended, changes scope or moves to another entity or site.

Document permissions

Clarify whether the brand may share each document with its regulator, Responsible Person, retailer, distributor or auditor.

Frequently asked questions

Are your cosmetics FDA approved?

No. The FDA does not approve cosmetics or issue an approval certificate for a cosmetics factory. Facility registration is not approval.

Does ISO 22716 make my product legal in every market?

No. It supports the manufacturing-quality part of a file. Product safety, notification, labelling and local responsible-party obligations remain market-specific.

Can I verify the certificates myself?

Yes. Use the published Intertek certificate numbers and confirm the named legal entity, address, scope and validity in the issuer's database.
