How the Active Ingredients Work
An overnight product gets six to eight hours of contact rather than the twenty minutes a daytime cream gets, and that changes what the formula has to survive rather than what it has to contain. Levels below follow the same tiers as our daytime creams; the differences are in the texture and the sensory side.

INCI: Caffeine. Added on the water side, same as our daytime creams, and at the same hero baseline of 3% within the 2–3.5% band. Long contact time does not justify a different number here: what changes overnight is exposure duration, and pushing the level up on top of that is how you turn a comfortable product into an irritating one. The tier structure runs support 1–2%, hero 2–3.5%, and high-load above 3.5% up to 7%.

INCI: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 as a pre-blended trade solution, added on the cool-down side. Tiers on the as-supplied basis are 1–2% supporting and 3–4% baseline 3% where the peptide leads, and this page runs at the 3% baseline of that tier. An overnight format is where a peptide argument is easiest to make commercially, because long contact time is the story the category is already sold on.

The real formulation problem in this format is not the actives, it is the finish: a body cream that transfers onto sheets gets abandoned after two nights regardless of how it performs. We build this base to set down to a non-transferring finish rather than to absorb fast. That is a different texture target from our daytime creams and is confirmed on the approved sample.
Seaweed extract, Hyaluronic Acid and light oilssupporting system
Seaweed carries the marine story the format is usually sold on, hyaluronic acid sits at 0.1–0.5% total as a humectant, and the light oil selection is what lets the cream set down without feeling heavy overnight. All three are support ingredients rather than headline actives, with levels set per project. Grouping them here rather than giving each a number is deliberate: the finish they produce together is what gets judged on sample, not any one of them alone.
Fragrance-free defaultsupporting
Left unfragranced by default in this format, because a scent that reads pleasantly at application can become intrusive over six hours on a pillow. Fragrance is added to brief where a brand wants it, and we recommend evaluating it on an overnight sample rather than on a first sniff. It is a repurchase issue more than a formulation one, which is why we default to leaving it out.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does overnight contact mean you can use a higher caffeine level?
We do not, and we would push back on a brief that asked for it. Overnight already multiplies exposure time several times over compared with a daytime cream, so stacking a higher percentage on top of that is how a comfortable product becomes an irritating one. We keep the same 3% hero baseline inside the 2–3.5% band, and let the format rather than the number do the work.
Will it transfer onto bedding?
That is the main formulation problem in this format, and the one we design against. This base is built to set down to a non-transferring finish rather than to absorb quickly, which is a different texture target from a daytime cream. It is worth judging on an overnight sample rather than a back-of-hand test, and we will send it for that.
Why is it unfragranced by default?
Because a fragrance that reads pleasantly at application can become intrusive after six hours on a pillow, and that is a repurchase problem rather than a formulation one. We add fragrance to brief, and we would recommend evaluating it overnight rather than on a first sniff. Fragrance-free is simply the safer default for the format.
Can we sell this as a night version of your daytime cream?
Yes, and it is the most common way it goes out. The actives and tiers are the same, so an AM and PM pair reads as one line, with this SKU differing on finish and on having no menthol or capsicum. Brands usually pair it with our Targeted Lift & Firm Cream for the daytime step.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
