Centella Soothing Repair Cream
A soothing Centella cream for reactive, tight, or barrier-compromised skin, usable morning and night. The Centella load sits lower than in our watery formats because an emulsion has less water phase to work with, not because the positioning is weaker. Manufactured under ISO 22716 for brands that need the moisturiser step of a sensitive-skin routine.

Key Active Ingredients
How the Active Ingredients Work
A Centella cream quoted on the extract basis, with the working level set against the texture you want. Levels below are stated on the extract basis and are our standard ODM baseline, adjustable for your target market and price point.
Centella Asiatica Extract baseline 2% · range 1–3% (extract basis)
INCI: Centella Asiatica Extract, quoted on the as-supplied basis. The working range here is 1–3%, against the 2–5% we quote on our toner and mask, and the final figure is confirmed during sampling against the texture you are targeting. Added below 40°C in the cool-down phase. Centella Asiatica extract is not restricted under the EU Cosmetic Regulation annexes or the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive; the CIR record documents reported use levels rather than setting a cap, so the working level is a formulation and cost decision, not a regulatory ceiling.
Standardised Centella Glycosides (Asiaticoside / Madecassoside) optional upgrade, 0.05–0.3% (90% assay basis)
Where you want a titrated glycoside named on pack, this can be layered onto the extract load. It sits at 0.05–0.3% on a 90% assay basis, with the working figure set from the supplier TDS. The 80% total-glycoside grade is the usual choice in a cream, with 90% titrated available. Centella comes in three different bases and they are not interchangeable on a spec sheet: a solvent extract, standardised glycoside powders, or TECA. The cream quote names the basis next to the level, so a lower number than our toner does not read as a downgrade.
Ceramides supporting barrier lipids
A cream is the format where ceramides make the most sense, since the oil phase carries them properly. Profile and level are set per project against your target texture and price point. This is the SKU in a Centella range where a ceramide claim is easiest to justify.
Panthenol supporting skin conditioner
Provitamin B5, a well-tolerated conditioning agent that supports comfort on reactive skin. In an emulsion it sits in the water phase and contributes to the soft after-feel rather than the occlusion. We set the level per project, usually alongside the ceramide load rather than independently of it.
Allantoin supporting soothing agent
A conditioning agent common in sensitive-skin creams, included at a supporting level rather than as a claimed active. An emulsion carries it more easily than a clear format, so the solubility limits that constrain our toner do not apply here. The level is set per project.
Aloe Vera supporting humectant
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, used as part of the water phase for a lighter perceived finish. Level is set per project, and it partly replaces water rather than adding to the active load. Worth knowing for label order: at a meaningful level it can sit high in the INCI list, which some buyers read as a headline ingredient even when we position it as support.

Launch-fit guide
Who This Product Is Built For
Sensitive-skin moisturiser slots
The step most sensitive-skin buyers add second, after a cleanser. A fragrance-free default makes it easier to sell into pharmacy and dermo-cosmetic channels. Still comparing formats? Review our face cream and gel-cream manufacturing options before selecting a catalogue product.
Cooler or drier destination markets
Where our gel and toner formats feel too light, a cream carries the same active story with more occlusion. Pairs with the Centella Repair Serum as the treatment step underneath.
Brands completing a Centella routine
Closes the face routine alongside the Centella Soothing Cleanser, Repair Toner, and Repair Mask. For body coverage, the Centella Soothing Body Lotion uses the same active basis.
Planning Your Centella Soothing Repair Cream Project
What to prepare before quotation and sampling, which checks are part of routine manufacturing, and which items are confirmed separately for this product type.
What to include in your brief
- Destination market, channel and whether the product is cosmetic retail or professional use.
- Preferred Centella material or standardisation, ceramide direction and texture target.
- 30ml or 50ml jar, airless press bottle or gel-cream format.
- Quantity, launch date and whether fragrance-free positioning is required.
- Repair, barrier, sensitive-skin, post-procedure or redness-related claims planned for use.
Quality and testing plan
Routine manufacturing controls and release against the agreed cream specification are part of production. The specification should cover appearance, odour, pH, viscosity, fill weight and agreed microbiological criteria.
Formal stability, preservative challenge, jar or airless-pack compatibility, claim substantiation, safety or sensitive-skin work and third-party reports are scoped according to the final formula, pack, market and protocol. Jar and airless formats require separate component confirmation.
Market and claims checkpoints
- Name the Centella form or supplier material before attaching concentration or standardisation language.
- Keep cosmetic comfort and barrier-appearance claims separate from wound healing or medical repair claims.
- Treat post-procedure or professional-use wording as a separate evidence and market review.
- Confirm fragrance-free and sensitive-skin statements against the full formula, not only the absence of added perfume.
Pricing and testing scope depend on the final formula, packaging, quantity and destination market.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you match the Centella level across our toner and cream?
The cream and the toner are quoted on the same extract basis but at different working ranges, 1–3% here against 2–5% on the toner. If you need the two aligned across a set, tell us which figure you want to lead with and we will quote against it.
Can you make a fragrance-free, alcohol-free version?
Yes, and fragrance-free is our default for this SKU. Alcohol is not used in the cream base.
What claims can we make with this cream?
Appearance-level soothing, hydration, and barrier-support claims. Treatment and medical wording is not supplied, and claim sets are reviewed against your destination market rules.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 3,000 jars per SKU. Lead time is confirmed per project once pack format and destination market are fixed.
Is it certified for export?
Produced in an ISO 22716 and GMPC certified facility, with SGS testing supported on request.
