Centella Repair Serum
A water-light Centella repair serum for sensitive and barrier-compromised skin, built for daily layering in hot and humid markets. The active side runs on TECA (titrated extract of Centella asiatica) rather than a solvent extract, which is what lets us quote a repeatable active level instead of a vague high-Centella claim. Manufactured under ISO 22716 for brands that need a credible repair hero SKU at a value price point.

Key Active Ingredients
How the Active Ingredients Work
A repair serum built on titrated Centella rather than a plain extract, so the active load is a number we can hold to across batches. Concentrations below are stated on the basis named in each card and are our standard ODM baseline, adjustable for your target market and price point.
Centella Asiatica Extractbaseline 3% · range 2–5% (extract basis)
INCI: Centella Asiatica Extract, the solvent-type extract, dosed on the as-supplied basis. It runs at a high load here so the extract carries a real share of the water phase rather than sitting in as a token inclusion. Added on the water side below 40°C. Centella Asiatica extract is not restricted under the EU Cosmetic Regulation annexes or the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive; the CIR record documents reported use levels rather than setting a cap, so the working level is a formulation and cost decision, not a regulatory ceiling.
TECA (Titrated Extract of Centella Asiatica)baseline 0.3% · range 0.1–0.5% (TECA basis)
INCI: Centella Asiatica Extract, supplied as a titrated fraction of roughly 40% asiaticoside plus about 60% triterpenic acids. Our baseline sits at 0.3% on the TECA basis, inside the 0.1–0.5% range suppliers recommend, and the asiaticoside and madecassoside content is what the calming story rests on. Added on the water side below 40°C to protect the glycosides. Centella Asiatica extract is not restricted under the EU Cosmetic Regulation annexes or the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive; the CIR record documents reported use levels rather than setting a cap, so the working level is a formulation and cost decision, not a regulatory ceiling.
Standardised Centella Glycosides (Asiaticoside / Madecassoside)0.05–0.3% (90% assay basis), per supplier TDS
Supplied as a titrated powder alongside the extract, not instead of it: total glycosides at 80%, or asiaticoside and madecassoside at 90% titrated purity. On a 90% assay basis the working range is 0.05–0.3%, with the figure for any given lot taken from the supplier TDS. Named on pack as asiaticoside or madecassoside where your label copy calls for it. Centella comes in three different bases and they are not interchangeable on a spec sheet: a solvent extract, standardised glycoside powders, or TECA. On the serum we quote the TECA figure and the assay side by side, so nothing has to be inferred.
Ceramidessupporting barrier lipids
Included to support the skin barrier alongside the Centella fraction rather than as a headline number. Ceramide profile and level are set per project against the texture and price point you are targeting. They are dosed in the oil phase, which is also what sets the upper limit on how light the final serum can feel.
Panthenolsupporting skin conditioner
Provitamin B5, a well-tolerated conditioning agent that supports comfort on freshly treated or reactive skin. Kept as a support ingredient with the level set per project. It is water-soluble and goes in on the same side as the Centella fraction, so it adds no load to the oil phase.
Hyaluronic Acidsupporting humectant
Sodium hyaluronate, used to carry the water-light after-feel this format is bought for. Molecular weight mix and level are set per project. We treat it as a texture and hydration support rather than a claimed active.

Who This Product Is Built For
Sensitive-skin lines needing a provable active
If your claim reviewer keeps rejecting high-Centella wording, a titrated basis gives them a figure to sign off. We quote the assay and the basis together so the number survives review.
Post-procedure and post-acid ranges
Positioned for use after sun exposure, acids, or clinic treatments, where a light texture matters more than a rich one. Pairs naturally with the Centella Soothing Repair Cream as the night step.
Brands building a full Centella routine
This serum is the treatment step in a five-SKU Centella set alongside the Centella Soothing Cleanser, Repair Toner, Repair Mask, and Repair Cream. Shared active basis across the range keeps your claim wording consistent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why quote TECA instead of just saying high-concentration Centella?
Because a percentage only means something once you say what it refers to. A solvent extract, an 80% glycoside powder, and TECA at the same percentage are three different active loads. Quoting the basis is what makes the number checkable.
Can you match a competitor's stated Centella percentage?
We can, provided we know which basis their figure uses. Send us the pack copy or spec sheet and we will quote the equivalent on our basis rather than copying a number that may not be comparable.
What claims can we make with this serum?
Appearance-level claims such as helping visibly calm the look of redness and supporting the skin barrier. We do not supply treatment or medical wording, and final claim sets are always reviewed against your destination market rules.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 2,000–3,000 bottles per SKU. Lead time is confirmed per project once pack format and destination market are fixed.
Is it certified for export?
Produced in an ISO 22716 and GMPC certified facility, with SGS testing supported on request.
