The essence carries a high Centella load on the extract basis, and the sheet material is chosen to hold that essence against the skin for 15 to 20 minutes without drying out at the edges. How the Active Ingredients Work
A high-load Centella extract essence on a sheet carrier, dosed so the serum left on skin still reads as a Centella product. Levels below are stated on the extract basis and are our standard ODM baseline, adjustable for your target market and price point.
Centella Asiatica Extractbaseline 3% · range 2–5% (extract basis)
INCI: Centella Asiatica Extract, a solvent-type extract dosed on the as-supplied basis in the essence. A sheet mask delivers a fixed 25–30ml of essence per piece, so the load per sheet is set by the essence volume as well as the percentage. Added on the water side below 40°C. Centella Asiatica extract is not restricted under the EU Cosmetic Regulation annexes or the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive; the CIR record documents reported use levels rather than setting a cap, so the working level is a formulation and cost decision, not a regulatory ceiling.
Standardised Centella Glycosides (Asiaticoside / Madecassoside)optional upgrade, 0.05–0.3% (90% assay basis)
Available where you want asiaticoside or madecassoside declared on the pack front. Dosed at 0.05–0.3% on a 90% assay basis, against the supplier TDS for the lot we buy. Both the 80% total-glycoside and the 90% titrated grades work in a mask essence. Centella comes in three different bases and they are not interchangeable on a spec sheet: a solvent extract, standardised glycoside powders, or TECA. Per-sheet essence volume and the extract basis both go on the mask quote, because the two only mean something together.
Ceramidessupporting barrier lipids
Included to give the essence a barrier-support story alongside the Centella load. Profile and level are set per project. In a mask essence they also affect how the sheet feels on removal, which is worth testing before you lock the formula.
Panthenolsupporting skin conditioner
Provitamin B5, a well-tolerated conditioning agent supporting comfort on freshly exposed skin after heat or sun. In a mask essence it also improves how the sheet feels on first contact, which is the moment most users judge the product on. The working level is set per project alongside the essence volume.
Allantoinsupporting soothing agent
A conditioning agent widely used in sensitive-skin formats, included at a supporting level. Its water solubility ceiling is the practical constraint on loading, not a regulatory limit. A mask essence is more forgiving here than a clear toner, since slight haze is invisible once the essence is on a sheet.

How much Centella actually reaches the skin from one sheet?
Each sheet carries 25–30ml of essence at the stated extract load, and the sheet material determines how much of that transfers rather than staying in the fabric. This is worth sampling across two materials before you commit, and we support that in the sampling stage.
Which sheet material do you recommend?
Cupra is the usual choice for value lines, and bio-cellulose for premium positioning because it clings better. The trade-off is cost per sheet, not efficacy of the essence.
What claims can we make with this mask?
Comfort and hydration wording kept at the appearance level. Treatment wording is not supplied, and claim sets are reviewed against your destination market rules.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 5,000–10,000 sheets per SKU. Lead time is confirmed per project once pack format and destination market are fixed.
