How the Active Ingredients Work
A mild amino-acid surfactant blend with a humectant and conditioning system for a low-strip, comfortable wash. The baseline below is our standard ODM starting point, adjustable for your target market and price point.
Amino Acid Surfactant Blend primary cleansing system
A mild anionic system that cleanses at a near-neutral pH rather than the alkaline range of soap-based cleansers, which is what prevents the tight after-feel. Soap needs pH 9–10 simply to stay soluble; amino acid surfactants do not. The blend ratio can be tuned toward richer foam or toward a lower cost structure depending on your target retail price.
Glycerin humectant
The workhorse humectant in cleansers — it offsets the moisture loss that any cleansing step causes and keeps the after-feel comfortable.
Hyaluronic Acid supporting humectant
Adds a slip and cushion to the foam and supports the hydrating claim. In a rinse-off product this is a supporting ingredient for after-feel rather than a treatment active — we are explicit about that distinction so your claims stay defensible.
Panthenol conditioning agent
Provitamin B5, widely used for its conditioning and comfort contribution. It supports the soft, non-stripped finish that defines this product.
