Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, at the hero tier because this is the SKU the range is built around. The basis is the part worth understanding: 3% refers to the supplier trade solution as delivered, not to pure peptide, so a competitor quoting a higher number may be using a differently diluted material and offering less actual peptide. We also run an assist tier at baseline 1% within 1–2% for ranges where the peptide is a supporting claim rather than the hero. Supportable wording is helping improve the look of firmness and the appearance of fine lines over continued use; we do not write that it stimulates collagen production, which is a physiological claim a cosmetic cannot make.

The exact oil ratio is a sensory decision settled at sampling, since it varies more by market habit than by skin type.

Deliberately at the assist tier, which is a formulation decision rather than cost-cutting. Niacinamide is water-soluble and this is an oil-led format, so a high level would fight the texture and undermine the reason the product exists. At 1–2% it supports the tone and texture story without destabilising the oil phase. If niacinamide needs to be the hero, a water serum is the right vehicle and we would build that instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does your peptide percentage look lower than other quotes?
Because we quote on the trade-solution basis, meaning the supplier material as delivered, and not every supplier does. For this material the hero tier sits at 3% of the supplier solution. When a competing quote says 10%, it is usually either a more dilute material or a number counted on a basis that cannot be compared with ours. Asking any supplier which basis their number refers to is the single most useful question in comparing peptide quotes, and it usually explains a price gap.
Can we claim it boosts collagen?
We keep it at helping improve the look of firmness and the appearance of fine lines with continued use. Boosting or stimulating collagen production is a physiological claim, and in the EU that framing moves a product toward a medicinal presentation. The appearance-level wording ships across the EU, ASEAN and US without a filing, and on a premium serum the visible result is what drives repurchase regardless of the mechanism language.
Will an oil-serum work in a hot humid market?
For dry and mature skin, yes, and the squalane-led phase is chosen specifically to absorb rather than sit on skin. For oily skin in the same climate, honestly no, and we would rather redirect you than take the order. If your market skews oily but you want the peptide story, we would put the same peptide level into a water serum or a light lotion and keep the oil phase minimal.
Is the squalane shark-derived?
No. We use plant-derived squalane from olive or sugarcane. That is the right answer on ethics and also on stability, since plant squalane is fully saturated and resists oxidation better than shark-derived squalene. It is worth stating on your label because customers increasingly ask, and a clear answer is a small competitive advantage.
Why is the niacinamide only 1–2%?
Because niacinamide is water-soluble and this is an oil-led formula, so pushing it higher would fight the texture and risk destabilising the oil phase. At the assist tier it supports the tone story without compromising the format. If niacinamide needs to be your hero active, the honest answer is that a water serum is the right vehicle and we would build that as a separate SKU rather than compromise this one.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 2,000–3,000 bottles per SKU and lead time is 45–55 days after sample approval. Sampling runs 2–3 weeks. Manufacturing is ISO 22716 and GMPC compliant, with SGS testing on request. The lead time reflects stability confirmation on the oil phase, which matters more here than on a water formula.
