This is a single-species essential oil supplied undiluted at 100%, not a blended massage oil. There is no baseline percentage to quote, because the oil is the whole product; what a buyer needs instead is the species, the distillation, and the constituent profile they will formulate against.
Lavandula Angustifolia Oil100%, undiluted
INCI: Lavandula Angustifolia Oil. True lavender, steam-distilled from flowering tops, and specified as a single species rather than a lavender-type blend. The profile we buy to is high in linalool and linalyl acetate with camphor held low, which is what separates angustifolia from lavandin. Lavandin is cheaper and smells sharper; if a harvest forces us to offer it we will name it as lavandin rather than ship it as lavender.

These are the two constituents that carry both the scent and the regulatory work. Because the oil is undiluted, the figures above are the levels in the material you receive, and your own dilution decides what appears in the finished product. We issue a GC/MS profile for the specific lot supplied rather than a category average, since these ranges shift with altitude, harvest timing, and distillation cut.
Storage and oxidationnot applicable
Undiluted lavender oil is more stable than a citrus oil but still oxidises once opened, and oxidised linalool is the form most associated with sensitisation. We ship in amber glass with minimal headspace and recommend cool storage away from light. No antioxidant is added, because adding one would make it a formulation rather than a pure oil.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this diluted in a carrier oil?
No. It is supplied at 100% with no carrier, antioxidant, or additive. Dilution is yours to do, and the level depends on what you are making and which market it goes to. We can quote contract blending separately if you would rather receive a finished massage oil.
Who is responsible for allergen labelling?
The finished product is, so in practice your side. Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 requires listed fragrance allergens to be declared above 0.001% in a leave-on product, and Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 expanded that list well beyond the original 26 substances, with the 31 July 2026 placing-on-the-market deadline now passed. At the levels lavender carries, linalool and limonene will clear that threshold at almost any realistic dilution. We give you the lot GC data so the calculation runs on real numbers.
What efficacy claims can we make?
That is a decision for you and your local assessor, and it has to follow the advertising rules of the market you sell in. We describe the material and its scent character, and we do not supply medical or therapeutic wording, because the finished product is not ours to characterise.
Will the profile be the same on every order?
Close, but not identical. Lavender is an agricultural product and the constituent ranges move with harvest and origin. We buy to a defined species and profile window, and we send the GC data for each lot so you can see where it sits rather than assume.
Do you supply smaller retail sizes?
The standard bulk format is 500 ml amber glass. Retail dropper sizes are possible as a separate filling project, and the MOQ and lead time differ from the bulk line.
