Serum-grade levels of 3% and above belong on an open-surface face product with shorter contact. Supportable wording is a brighter, more even-looking eye and cheek area by morning. Korea caps niacinamide at 5% for functional cosmetics, comfortably above where we sit.
Panthenolbaseline 2% · range 1–5% (industry baseline)
Doing more work overnight than it would during the day, since transepidermal water loss rises during sleep and the patch is already reducing it. Panthenol holds water and settles the skin, which is what makes an overnight product feel calm rather than merely occlusive. It is also well tolerated under prolonged contact, which matters more here than in a rinse-off or short-wear format.

Will it stay on all night?

We would rather you evaluate it in real overnight wear at sampling than take our word for it, because side-sleeping is the condition that separates a patch that holds from one that migrates. If your market skews warmer and more humid, flag it early since it changes the gel target.
Why is the niacinamide only 1%?
Because eight hours of occlusion on thin eye-area skin is a materially different exposure from a serum that absorbs and is finished. Prolonged contact pushes the appropriate level down, not up. We would rather tell you that than quote a bigger number and let you find the tolerance problem after launch. If your positioning needs a higher figure we will discuss and sample it, and we will also give you our honest view of the idea.
Does the collagen work overnight since it has longer contact?
Longer contact helps the hydration effect, but it does not change the mechanism. Topical collagen still does not penetrate meaningfully and still does not become your own collagen. What the extra hours genuinely buy is a more thoroughly hydrated surface by morning, which is a real and visible benefit — just not a structural one. We keep the claim at plumper and smoother-looking skin on waking.
Can we make it vegan?
Yes, by dropping the collagen. The gel matrix is plant-derived polysaccharide, and panthenol, allantoin, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid are all suitable. Collagen is the only constraint. Raise it at brief stage rather than after sampling, because removing it changes the morning after-feel enough that the vegan version deserves evaluation on its own terms.
Will it leave residue on bedding?
The hyaluronic acid is capped at a lower level than our face patches specifically to control tackiness, because transfer to bedding is a complaint that shows up in reviews fast. There is some residual serum on the skin at removal, which is normal and intended to be patted in. If your brief needs a completely non-transferring finish, tell us and we will adjust the humectant profile, though it costs some of the cushioned morning feel.
